Wedding | Alouette Lake | Alyssa & David

Alyssa & David
2020 was not anything that we assumed it would be. COVID-19 altered the plans of many weddings, but a lot of couples adapted to the new restrictions and went on to remind the world that love always wins. Alyssa & David did just this, canceling their original big wedding plans and moved their venue. Luckily we live in one of the most beautiful places on earth and there are a lot of locations to choose from. Alyssa & David decided to get married at Alouette Lake South Beach (Golden Ears Provincial Park).
The day started out at the Sandman Hotel in Langley, BC. The bride and groom prepared for their day in their respective rooms, surrounded by their closest loved ones. The day was overcast and we held our breath that the rain would hold off. After driving to South Beach for the ceremony, it started to mist. The clouds covered the mountains giving the location a very west coast vibe. As soon as Alyssa was ready to walk down the aisle, the rain let up and the clouds started to disperse. It was beautiful and moody in all the right ways.
